It is difficult to give a definitive answer, because Brexit (as in leaving the EU) is pretty much a ‘live’ issue, which is still developing everyday. However, one evident thing is that Brexit (the vote and its aftermath) has polarised the country even more which is never helpful for a democracy. This basically means that people are more and more likely to be isolated from others with different opinions. In the long turn this decreases the likelihood of people with different beliefs working together to find mutually acceptable solutions to shared problems such as poverty, global warming etc.
