      I don’t think so, but there are plenty of funny people at my work. Maybe somebody should make a cartoon about psychologists!

      If by cartoon characters you mean interesting characters, sometimes with exaggerated characteriatics (like a cartoon) then I might say yeah – because all humans come in different forms and I see a *lot* of people in my work! I don’t think of them as cartoons, but certainly some people are more memorable than others – sometimes you can tell why (you had a specific emotional reaction in their presence, or they had an unusual story) but sometimes you don’t know quite why, but they are. I think that’s what we call ‘charisma’ or something like that, when someone just ‘sticks in your mind’. As for characters who are ‘larger than life’ – very definitely I get to work with them too. But whoever comes through my door, I try to be curious and caring about them!
