As the nerd I am, I like to read. Sometimes I watch Netflix…

If you mean when I’m researching then there’s always more reading to do! If you mean in my spare time, then walk the dog, read, watch TV or a film.

Oooh! I like Ian’s distinction between work and spare time! There’s often ‘nothing to do’ in some respect at work if people don’t turn up to appointments, but then there is actually paperwork to fill in or letters and reports to write and data to collect and analyse. And emails to check (there’s always emails). In my spare time, I tend to arrange things to do in the evening – going out with friends, joining a club, going to a play… if there’s nothing on, I’ll take myself to a cafe and watch YouTube on their internet or read a book. What do you do?

I really enjoy video games so if I have nothing to do then I’ll play one of my games, I’ve just finished the Spiderman game for PS4 (very nerdy I know!). Other times, I like to watch tv and if I’m feeling more active I go bouldering, which is like rock climbing without the ropes.

Lots of things! I like listening to music, playing my bass guitar, watching films, taking my dogs for a walk, reading, surfing the internet (usually Twitter) or writing novels or short stories.

I like to make things. I’m getting married soon, so at the moment I’m really enjoying making things for the wedding. But I also like making presents for friends and family. I also enjoy reading (my favourite book is Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality – you can get it for free online and it’s absolutely brilliant!) and watching Netflix with my partner.
