      Do you mean just after they have completed the study? Hopefully, very little. In psychological research we should always try to leave our participants the same (or better) than when they came into the study. That is why we explain what the study was about the participants so that they can understand what they have just been involved in. We also link them to help such as the Samaritans or MIND in case they need additional support.
