A cyberpsychologist is someone who studies human behaviour and the mind in the context of their interactions with different forms of technology, for example the Internet, virtual reality, augmented reality and video games. Cyberpsychologists are interested in understanding what motivates people to use these forms of technology and how their use might impact on our behaviour, for example one question that is asked frequently is ‘are we the same person online as we are offline?’
