      Wow. That’s a great question. Social identity isn’t like personality, it’s defined by being part of different social groups, so you could identify with being a mum, a sister, a teacher, a football fan etc. So it’s quite subtle usually. I guess you’d say the more extreme groups in society are the ones that are less common.
