Hi! This is a difficult one and depends on the person. If they make good decisions for themselves and also make good decisions for you then I think they are a good friend/best friend.
I think ALex’s answer is a really good one! I was thinking too about how a lot of young people I meet have told me how difficult it can be to make friends, or change friends once a friendship group is established. I’d say, really annoyungly, it tends to get easier as you get older because you have more and different groups of people to choose from, and youre not generally just lumped in with people because they happen to be the same age as you. So, whatever your friendship situation now, you’ll get even more choice as you get older 🙂
