• Question: in your work do you believe you are making a difference to humanity?

      I hope that one day will help make a difference to how we see young people who commit crimes. I might not be there yet, but one day I hope to be able to make a difference 🙂

      I’d like to hope so, although sometimes it’s not always easy to know exactly how your work affects people because this information doesn’t always work its way back to you. I’ve done quite a lot of research with a colleague of mine, Dr Darren Chadwick, where we have been looking at the different barriers that might prevent people with learning disabilities from accessing and using the internet and we’ve had some feedback that our work has raised awareness for some people and made their lives better which is very pleasing to hear
